It was built on a simple premise: If you went around a prepper's home and gathered up everything you could possibly need to get through a multi-day grid-down situation, what would that look like? What tools, supplies, and euipment would we have on hand to survive in the wake of a disaster? We already knew what sort of stuff comes in most pre-built bug-out bags and similar kits, and that is "cheap crap". Our objective was to assemble a kit made from the stuff that actual preppers and survivalists spend their hard-earned money on.
